Despite this site becoming more difficult the C A Rhodes Award continues; see our Roll of Honour for 2023 and 2024 recipients. The presentation to Cat Ferguson still has to be arranged alongside her busy schedule as a professional riding for the Spanish Movistar team.
We should also mention that 2019 recipient Ben Swift finally received his Award at the 2024 thanks to the efforts of our Sheffield resident Trustees, Marc Etches and Simon Keeton. Ben’s Award got delayed due to the Covid pandemic lockdowns and was then impossible to fit in around his World Tour racing commitments.
At the last November annual meeting of the Trustees we accepted the retirements of Bryan Peel, Mickie Hornby and Liz Hills. Bryan and Mickie have served for very many years and have brought welcome insights to our deliberations; we thank all three for contributions
We hope to announce a migration to a new website later this year.
